Struggle with chaturanga? Here’s a lightbulb inducing trick with a strap to feel a well-aligned chaturanga and train your elbows to stay in and your body to descend to a reasonable depth in the pose.
Tips:
- Strap should be placed above the elbows and be about the width of your shoulders
- Keep the strap taut and the buckle in between your arms
- Think forward rather than down
- Let the strap support you and feel the depth of the pose.
- Try it with knees up or down dependent on your strength.
