Arm balances for everybody: bakasana, eka pada koundinyasana, and side plank variations
Where do you begin with these complicated postures that make strong demands on strength and flexibility? Is the effort worth it? This workshop will help you find your entry point into these most demanding of yoga shapes in a way that is accessible to all levels. Learn how to see shapes in all orientations to gravity and re-imagine how arm balances might look in your body. Beginning with the core and working outward through hip flexibility and shoulder strength, we will embrace together the challenge and joy that these postures provide. All levels welcome.
