Bigger backbends for everybody: techniques for physical and emotional expansion
Does advanced mean inaccessible? Do backbends really â€˜open the heart?â€™ In this workshop, learn how to make vrishikasana (scorpion pose), natarajasana (dancer pose), and eka pada raja kapotasana (full king pigeon pose) and others work for you. Develop the strength and awareness to maintain the integrity of your centre and learn modifications and propping strategies to happily enjoy these tough postures and explore their emotional resonance. This workshop is suitable for those with happy backs, some practice experience, and comfort in being upside down with the assistance of a partner or the wall.
