Yoga Self-Care For Everybody: Revolutionise your practice Are you using your yoga practice as best as you can to care for yourself, or are you just doing what the teacher tells you to do? In this workshop, you will find out what self-care actually is and how you can practice it in flow yoga. You will explore new ways to check-in before practice, set intentions and act on them, and make choices that suit your individual needs while in a mixed-levels class. You will expand your yoga toolkit to include new techniques of self-massage, no-fuss restorative postures, and embodied meditation. You will learn how to turn self-practice or any yoga class of any style, even a sweaty level 2-3, into an opportunity for care and compassion.

What is Savasana?: How To Practise For Rest And Renewal
Why do we need to lie down at the end of the class? What would happen if we didn’t? This workshop explores the meaning and function of Savasana, or final relaxation, in a vinyasa flow class. We will practice and learn a variety of yoga tools to lead us to a restful savasana, including slow sun salutations, passive stretching, self-massage, and restorative postures. A variety of savasana prop options will be given to accommodate all varieties of restlessness. We will conclude with a twenty-minute savasana. Are you up for the challenge? All levels welcome.
