Yoga Beginners – 8 week course
In my yoga beginners courses you will learn a full-around sequence of all the major pose types to prepare you to enter any yoga class with confidence. Each week will include repetition of the themes and postures of the previous week so you grow and learn from repetition. I’ll support you with online resources you can use at home to practice and remember.
Yoga is an ancient philosophy and system of practices designed to unite mind and body creating a sense of complete well-being. In this course, you will be introduced to some of the fundamental yoga beginners poses concentrating on healthy alignment and establishing a deeper awareness of your breathing. Instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given. Some of the many benefits of yoga include: improvement in posture and breathing, increased tone, strength and flexibility, a greater ability to cope with stress and a feeling of calm. This yoga beginners course creates a strong and safe foundation from which you can then investigate the different styles of yoga in any of triyoga’s Open and Level One classes.
